Job Description

Our client, a Gartner Magic Quadrant winner and a leading global provider of enterprise software solutions to Fortune 500s and global enterprises has been on a trajectory growth mode. This is a newly-created headcount to support their Asia expansion plans.

Responsible for the APAC market, this role will be instrumental in in delivering revenue growth via building and growing their channel eco-system infrastructure to ensure the success of the partners and alliances. You will report to the VP of Sales and will cover the following responsibilities:

  • Dedicated to growing the channel pipeline, marketing initiatives, lead generation and market share
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Proactively participate in quarterly and annual partner discussions and planning processes, ensuring revenue successes and growth
  • Develop and maintain necessary partner opportunity pipeline to support sales performance expectations
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other internal sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborate with partner and alliance organisations to sell to end users
  • Create and implement sales and marketing campaigns for channel partners to drive revenue in key vertical markets
  • Recruit, enable and drive new SIs and strategic partners 

To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

  • Degree-qualified, ideally from IT or Computer Science, with extensive regional experiences
  • A minimum of 10 years in channel partner management, ideally within the software applications space 
  • Strategic program management and execution skills
  • Strong writing and presentation skills are requisites to the success of this role
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management, with proven track records in managing strategic channel partners and SIs and finding creative win-win situations with partners to drive successful partnerships
